Fanateer Mall - 1st visit to the mall

Throwback post originally dated: 13 March 2015

Our very first shopping mall visit to the nearest mall in Al-Jubail. Back then this is the only mall available here in Al-Jubail. But now 2 years back, the development in this area has flowerish with a few other shopping malls and big hypermarket.

We used to have to go to Al-Khobar and Al-Dammam which is approximately 1 hour drive from Al-Jubail for shoppings and buying asean based groceries.
How time flies so fast. This is my 1st visit to the mall nearest to my house area at that time, 2 years back - Al-Fanateer mall.

How raining looks like in Saudi - shy shy cat mehhhh

A Good Gardener? - Nahhh

Throwback post originally dated: 21 April 2015

After a few failed attempts, I can officially say that I am not a good gardener.  Been trying to plant some herbs but practically all (well there's still one basil plants died or nearly died after more or less than a few days. hahaha

Hey.. don't blame me okay. Blame to the dry and hot summer Saudi weather.

It all started of with this lemongrass. bought these at Zee Mart asian shop and found there were roots. So, I put them into water to blossom the roots even further.

Bought the necessary pots, soil and fertiliser to take care of the plant

Mint Herbs - The first plant that I've bought with the intention of grooming them. I've placed them at the ground floor together with my other neighbours' plant. I think the plant is still standing. thanks to my lovely neighbour who took care of them.

Basil Herbs that I bought Yesterday - hope it does not die untill I cook some pasta

 Oregano

Sage

Final look of the plants .. sigh.. I am so sorry that you all nearly died

All dies. sob sob.

Resuming blogging

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

It is now February 2017 and it has been nearly 2 years since I last updated my blog. Yes, a lot has changed since then. We are still living in Saudi Arabia - the same place in Al-Jubail and Alhamdulillah life is great. My two children had grown up fast too. Owh, how time flies.

When I opened back my blog editor this morning there it is the many many many drafts that I had  made but never posted before. I might repost again all my drafts but let me screen back what have I written okay. I will write new posts too just to keep my current memories intact. But let's clean up those backlogs first okay.

I just realised back that I needed to re-blog to capture the memories and also my thoughts about what's happening around me. I needed to blog to allow me to mumbles and air my thoughts. hahahhaha NOOOO..... Blogging actually makes me sane and more up-to-date with my surroundings. Both my instagram and my blog are my personal spaces - my online diaries to be exact. From which I want my families, my children to be able to re-look back at the memories that we have created thus far. These are the 2 places where I reflects and put my thoughts at. Facebook is only for catching up with friends and acquaintances - purely networking medium but it is not my favourite place.

I misses pouring out my thoughts and mind onto this other canvas - my blog. Been abandoning it for quite sometime now. Sorry, blog.

InshaAllah for more blog posts to come from now on. Bismillah.

Love and kisses,
Nor Farihan, Saudi Arabia
