Faiq and baby had a mild sore throat due to the changing of weather and maybe due to exposure to the sand particle blown in the air. Faiq had lost his voice. We went to Al-Mouwasat Hospital to seek medical care and meet with peadatrician. Alhamdulillah we went at just the right timing for the hospital night opening time for Peadiatric.
Faiq were given antibiotic and also a sore throat relieving syrup whilst baby was given only a sore throat syrup. They are currently on medication now. Tips given by the paedeatrician is to stay away from open exposed area especially when it is dusty outside, complete the medication cource and give the children a lot of plain warm water. I hope that my children will get better very soon.
Note: Each hospital may have different working hours and maybe differentiated opening times for the different wards/type of care. So, before going to any hospital in Saudi, we must check their opening times. The general rules is not to come during prayer times as hospitals or any other businesses in Saudi are closed during solat timing. For mouwasat, we may also book our appointment online but I have yet to try that.
