This is actually a post prior to the Short Nakheel beach Picnic post.
Planned to go for desert ATV last Saturday with my compound mates but it was windy and a mild sand storm is about to start. As not to kill the mood of playing desert related sports, we changed our plan and went to Jubail Equestrian Club which is situated within the Royal Commission area.
My children and hubby played mini ATV and horse riding that day instead of the full blown desert ATV. For mini ATV ride, the price is 10 Saudi Riyal for small children and 15 Saudi Riyal for adult for 15 minutes ride respectively. Whilst for the horse riding, the price is 5 Riyal per round for children and 10 Riyal per ride for adult. There are also small children playground placed at the place.
My children really love the experience that they had on that day. Faiq, being a boy loves the ATV ride whilst baby loves the horse ride the most. They kept on begging for us to bring them there again. We will definitely go again but when the weather has stabilises and no sand storm.
